The Program Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents, as well as managing the day-to-day activities of the facility. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals in need.\nResponsibilities:\n- Manage and supervise staff members, including training and performance evaluations\n- Ensure compliance with all applicable DDA regulations and guidelines\n- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe and supportive environment\n- Coordinate resident care plans and ensure their implementation\n- Oversee medication administration and ensure proper documentation\n- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility\n- Maintain accurate resident records and documentation\n- Advocate for resident rights and ensure their dignity and privacy are respected\n- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care\n- Manage budgets, inventory, and supplies\nQualifications:\n- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a DDA licensed group home or nursing home\n- Knowledge of systems related to residential care facilities\n- Familiarity with medication administration protocols\n- Understanding of resident rights and regulations governing residential facilities\n- Strong organizational and leadership skills\n- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities\n- Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism\n- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed\n- Ability to provide supervision and training to staff\nSkills:\n- Detailed and organised\n- Meal preparation\n- DDA group home experience\n- Direct support services\n- Meal preparations for dietary restrictions\n- Ability to create schedules for activities\nWe offer competitive compensation packages, including benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
