This role demands strong technical leadership, deep software engineering expertise, and a passion for modern infrastructure and deployment practices. You will lead and mentor high-performing engineering teams while actively contributing to architectural decisions and code review efforts.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nLead the design and implementation of an extensible integration platform to onboard and manage data from various systems.\r\nArchitect and oversee data ingestion pipelines from external APIs, file-based sources, and event streams into the People Cloud using Databricks, Spark, and custom ETL services.\r\nBuild reusable, scalable connector frameworks with monitoring, retry logic, and transformation capabilities.\r\nEnsure seamless integration with the People Cloud's APIs, data models, and customer-facing features.\r\nDrive backend development with Java/Spring Boot and real-time and batch data processing strategies.\r\nOversee the frontend architecture (Angular) for internal tools and dashboards managing connectors, data flows, and transformation logic.\r\nCollaborate cross-functionally with product, data, and cloud infrastructure teams to align technical delivery with business goals.\r\nEnsure the platform is multi-cloud compatible, leveraging AWS, Azure, or GCP services where needed.\r\nImplement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and blue-green deployment strategies for highly reliable releases.\r\nQualifications\r\n10+ years in software engineering, with a strong foundation in backend systems and data engineering.\r\n5+ years of leadership experience, including team building, mentoring, and delivery management.\r\nExpertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and building cloud-native microservices.\r\nStrong understanding of data integration patterns, API consumption, and real-time/batch ETL.\r\nExperience building multi-connector frameworks is a big plus.\r\nKnowledge of Angular for front-end development and dashboarding.\r\nProven experience with multi-cloud deployment, Kubernetes, Terraform, and observability tools.\r\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and blue-green deployments in production environments.\r\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\r\nPreferred Experience\r\nBuilding integrations with systems like Salesforce, Workday, Marketo, GoogleAds, Segment, Snowflake.\r\nHands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, or equivalent data processing platforms.\r\nStrong understanding of data integration patterns, API consumption, and real-time/batch ETL.\r\nExperience with\r\nRAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures\r\nAgentic AI systems (tool-using agents, orchestration, multi-step reasoning workflows)\r\nExperience with spec-driven AI-assisted development\r\nBenefits\r\nCompensation Range: USD $129,500.00 – USD $240,500.00 per annum.\r\nTime to Recharge: Flexible time off (FTO), 15 paid holidays\r\nTime to Recover: Paid sick time\r\nFamily Well-Being: Parental/new child leave, childcare & elder care assistance, adoption assistance\r\nExtra Perks: Comprehensive health coverage, 401(k), tuition assistance, commuter benefits, professional development, employee recognition, charitable donation matching, health coaching and counseling\r\nEqual Opportunity Statement\r\nEpsilon is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
