The ability to develop and test structure-property hypotheses through synthesis, characterization, and experimental investigation is required.\n\nThe candidate should have experience studying phase behavior, molecular interactions, and the relationships between molecular structure and physical and chemical properties. A strong understanding of chemical and process thermodynamics, reaction kinetics, process chemistry, and the chemistry of industrial processes is required.
