If you're looking for a challenge, you've just found it.\nAs a CNO Test Engineer, you'll participate in the planning of technical approaches, and equipment required for the testing and evaluating of new systems, products and special devices. Utilizing your expert knowledge and understanding of test engineering concepts and principles, you'll prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, and complete specifications and procedures throughout the engineering development lifecycle.\nRequired Skills:\n\nProven CNO domain experience\nTesting of embedded software systems in one or more of the following operating system environments: Unix, Linux, VxWorks\nExperience working within teams of engineers as both a lead and a contributor.\nAbility to develop test procedures from requirements independently\nExperience in the development of test documentation such as test plans, and test reports\nAbility to work as part of a team environment\nWorking knowledge of common protocols/standards such as TCP/IP, SDH/SONET, ATM, MPLS/GMPLS, Ethernet, Carrier Grade Ethernet\n\nPreferred Skills:\n\nExperience with Automated Testing\nScript writing using Perl, Python, Bourne shell, C shell, or other proprietary scripting languages\nJIRA\nConfluence\nSVN\nWhat you'll experience:\n\nTechnologies that aren't just top-notch, they're often top-secret\nA team of bold thinkers committed to exploring what's next\n- Opportunities to gain new knowledge - as it's discovered\nWhat you bring to the table:\n\nA Bachelors degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience\nProficient knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming, system processes and scripting languages\nOpenly proposes ideas that enhance productivity and efficiency, solicits input, and optimizes solutions\nWhat sets you apart:\n\nTeam player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success, meeting and exceeding personal and team commitments\nAbility to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity\nCommitment to ongoing professional development\nWork Requirements\nYears of Experience\n5 + years of related experience\nmay vary based on technical training, certification(s), or degree\nCertification\nTravel Required\nNone\nCitizenship\nU.S. Citizenship Required\nSalary and Benefit Information\nThe likely salary range for this position is $153,000 - $207,000.
