Aligned around a shared purpose, our $4.5B company and 16,000 people work alongside our clients, here and abroad, to tackle their most complex challenges with integrity, respect, responsibility, and professionalism.\n\nWe are seeking a TS/SCI with Polygraph cleared Senior Software Developer who will focus on the development and enhancement support for existing applications as well as new development.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nDesigning, programming/developing, and modifying software systems, applications, and tools, both existing and potentially new in the future\nAnalyzing user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints\nCollaborating with teammates, other service providers, vendors, and users to develop new program features\nDeveloping unit and integration tests, in addition to participating in functional and regression tests to ensure programs will produce the desired results and that instructions are correct\nCorrecting errors by making the appropriate changes and then re-checking the program to ensure the desired result was produced\nParticipating in code reviews by reviewing and incorporating feedback from teammates as well as providing feedback to others based on existing standards and recommended programming practices\nDeploying code to development, test, and production environments using existing DevOps infrastructure/tools\nReviewing help desk messages periodically and working with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues\nOrganizing and maintaining documentation of application development and subsequent revisions, so others are able to understand the program\nQualifications:\n\nExperience:\n\nStrong Java programming/development skills, with hands-on experience\nExperience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework, preferably Angular\nExperience with, or knowledge of, the Spring Framework and RESTful services\nExperience with, or knowledge of, SQL and ORM libraries such as Hibernate/JPA\nExperience with Git branching and merging within a team to manage source code\nStrong ability to manage competing priorities and communication to multiple stakeholders\nActive TS/SCI with Poly clearance required\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience with, or knowledge of, Elasticsearch\nExperience with, or knowledge of, best practices for developing secure web applications\n\nSkills & Technology Used:\n\nJava\nAt V2X, we are deeply committed to both equal employment opportunity, including protection for Veterans and individuals with disabilities, and fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
