As a large equipment operator with Contech you will contribute to America’s essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management.\nWhy apply?\nCompetitive wages.\nOpportunities for overtime.\nCompany provided benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, disability, Company paid life and disability benefits, paid vacation, and 401K.\nAbout the Role\nResponsibilities:\nReceives instructions and schedules from plant supervision.\nOperate Forklift, Front End Loader or Mijack equipment in order to move product and supplies to desired location safely.\nCompletes pre-shift daily audit and maintains daily safety checklist.\nComplies with Next Level Quality Assurance Program at all times.\nOperates equipment to empty departments of finished product and move to their specified locations, as well as load and unload in accordance with Contech’s guide.\nPrepares lumber for dunnage use, operates saws and nail guns.\nFuels and maintains forklift\nCompletes post-shift daily audit and parks equipment in designated area at the end of each day.\nRecords and turns in production as required.\nMaintains work area and equipment in clean, orderly conditions per 5S standards.\nOther duties assigned.\nAbout You\nWe Require:\nOne (1) year of Manufacturing, production, or distribution experience.\nOne (1) year of forklift or crane operation experience.\nGood attention to detail and organizational skills.\nPreferred – certification in forklift operation, industrial forklift a plus.\nPreferred – certification on large equipment operation.\nAbout Us\nEach day brings new challenges at Contech, and we make sure you are prepared for it all.
