This role is responsible for full-cycle recruitment of technical and professional talent, partnering with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, source qualified candidates, and facilitate the hiring process. The ideal candidate has experience recruiting within the government contracting or technology sector and is skilled at building strong candidate pipelines in a fast-paced environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nRecruitment & Talent Acquisition\n\nManage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating candidate evaluations, and offer management.\nSource qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, employee referrals, networking events, and direct outreach.\nDevelop and maintain talent pipelines for technical and professional positions.\nCreate compelling job postings and recruitment campaigns to attract top talent.\nConduct initial candidate screenings to assess qualifications, experience, and overall fit.\n\nHiring Manager Partnership\n\nPartner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and position requirements.\nProvide insights on candidate availability, market trends, and recruiting strategies.\nCoordinate interview schedules and ensure a smooth hiring process for both candidates and hiring teams.\nCommunicate effectively with stakeholders regarding recruitment progress and candidate status.\n\nCandidate Experience & Relationship Management\n\nEnsure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.\nMaintain ongoing communication with candidates and hiring teams.\nBuild relationships with active and passive candidates for current and future hiring needs.\nRepresent CODE Plus professionally in interactions with prospective employees and external recruiting events.\n\nRecruiting Operations & Compliance\n\nMaintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).\nEnsure recruiting activities comply with applicable federal, state, and company employment policies.\nTrack recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate pipeline activity, and source effectiveness.\nSupport continuous improvement of recruiting processes and best practices.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n5 to 8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in technical, IT, engineering, cybersecurity, or government contracting environments.\nExperience sourcing and recruiting for technical and professional services positions.\nStrong knowledge of recruiting platforms and sourcing tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and ATS platforms.\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.\nAbility to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities simultaneously.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience recruiting for Federal Government contracts, including cleared and uncleared positions.\nFamiliarity with IT, software development, cloud, cybersecurity, engineering, and program management roles.\nKnowledge of government contracting recruiting practices and labor categories.\nSHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR/recruiting certification.\nExperience using ADP Talent Management, or similar recruitment systems.","company":"Code Plus","rawCompany":"code plus","city":"Fairfax","state":"VA","isRemote":false,"isActive":false,"createdAt":"2026-08-29T10:44:50.659Z","occupations":[{"code":"13-1071.00","title":"Human Resources Specialists","slug":"human-resources-specialists"},{"code":"11-3121.00","title":"Human Resources Managers","slug":"human-resources-managers"},{"code":"15-1299.00","title":"Computer Occupations, All Other","slug":"computer-occupations-all-other"}],"industries":[{"code":"561311","title":"Employment Placement Agencies","slug":"employment-placement-agencies"},{"code":"561312","title":"Executive Search Services","slug":"executive-search-services"},{"code":"561320","title":"Temporary Help Services","slug":"temporary-help-services"}],"jobPosting":{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","title":"Technical Recruiter","description":"About CODE Plus, Inc.\n\nCODE Plus, Inc. is an established IT government contractor headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia, with additional offices in Huntsville, Alabama.
