This role is responsible for supporting the daily receipt, organization, and distribution of all food and beverage deliveries. This role ensures that incoming products are accurately checked, properly stored, and delivered to the appropriate kitchen or storage areas in a timely and organized manner.This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive all food and beverage deliveries in a timely and organized mannerVerify deliveries against purchase orders and invoices for accuracyInspect products for quality, damage, and proper temperature upon arrivalReport any discrepancies, shortages, or quality concerns to a supervisorProperly label, date, and store all items following FIFO (First In, First Out) standardsStock and organize all culinary storage areas, including dry storage, coolers, and freezersMaintain cleanliness and organization of receiving and storage areas at all timesDeliver products to appropriate kitchen outlets and departments promptlyCommunicate with culinary team members regarding deliveries, substitutions, or shortagesAssist with inventory counts and support stock rotation effortsMonitor inventory levels and notify leadership of low or depleted itemsFollow all food safety, sanitation, and handling proceduresEnsure proper storage and handling of perishable goodsMaintain a safe working environment, including proper lifting and equipment useQualificationsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shiftAbility to work in varying environments, including refrigerated and freezer areasBasic math and organizational skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructionsReliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a teamGood communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitudePrevious experience in receiving, warehousing, or a hospitality/culinary environment preferredBasic knowledge of food safety practices (e.g., proper storage, labeling, FIFO) preferredAdditional InformationAuberge Resorts Collection is a portfolio of extraordinary hotels, resorts, residences, and private clubs.
