The Structural Engineer will perform structural analysis, design reviews, and technical support for building and waterfront structures on Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build projects.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform structural analysis and design of vertical and lateral force-resisting systems, retaining structures, utility structures, and waterfront structures (piers, wharves, etc.).\nReview designs, calculations, RFIs, submittals, and design changes for compliance with DoD UFC, IBC, ASCE 7, and project requirements.\nApply innovative technical principles to resolve structural design issues.\nCoordinate with multi-discipline teams, government clients, and stakeholders.\nPrepare technical reports, recommendations, and meeting documentation.\nSupport weekly and monthly status reporting.\nMinimum Qualifications\nU.S. Citizenship required (Green Card holders are not eligible to apply).\nMust be able to pass a T1 security background check.\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus from an accredited program.\nMinimum of six (6) years of design management and/or design experience.\nDemonstrated knowledge of structural design using concrete, steel, and masonry.\nProficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit and Microsoft Office Suite.\nStrong technical writing and communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license in Structural or Civil Engineering.\nExperience with NAVFAC, waterfront structures, or DoD facilities projects.\nAdditional Information ASR International Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
