The Interim Controller will lead the accounting team, manage the monthly and quarterly close processes, oversee financial reporting, and partner closely with the company’s CFO, VP of Finance, FP&A Manager, and other business leaders.\nThe ideal candidate is an established Controller with strong technical accounting skills, recent hands-on NetSuite experience, and a background supporting a software, SaaS, adtech, or technology-driven organization.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the monthly and quarterly financial close processes\nOversee revenue close, account reconciliations, and close checklists\nPrepare monthly financial statements, flash reporting, board reporting, and investor-requested reporting\nOversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activities\nManage cash-flow forecasting and working-capital reporting\nOversee monthly sales commissions and quarterly bonus calculations\nReview and manage employee expense reimbursements\nCollaborate with FP&A, HR, operations, and other business functions\nSupport external tax providers with periodic requests\nManage and provide leadership to two accounting professionals and one Payroll Manager\nMaintain clear documentation and ensure a smooth transition before and after the leave period\nRequired Qualifications\nSignificant experience serving as a Controller in a hands-on capacity\nStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting\nRecent, hands-on NetSuite experience\nExperience leading monthly and quarterly close processes\nExperience managing an accounting team\nExperience with cash-flow forecasting and working-capital management\nBackground in software, SaaS, adtech, or another technology-driven business\nAbility to work onsite in Boulder every Tuesday and Thursday\nAvailability to commit approximately 40 hours per week through mid-January 2027\nThis position requires an experienced Controller who can step into the role quickly and independently.
