Husky Terminal – 1101 Port of Tacoma Rd, Tacoma, WA 98421, USAThe Director of Safety is a member of Husky Terminal's Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and is responsible for developing, implementing, and leading comprehensive safety, risk management, and emergency preparedness programs across all terminal operations. This role serves as the primary safety business partner and subject matter expert for marine terminal safety, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and maritime regulatory requirements while promoting a strong, proactive safety culture in complex, high-hazard, 24/7 port operations.This role requires a results-driven leader who demonstrates initiative, confidence, and a strong sense of urgency in achieving safety and operational objectives. The Director of Safety must be able to make timely decisions, solve complex problems, and lead safety initiatives in a fast-paced, high-risk operational environment.
