{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"733d9c337e8e86deba13a3df","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/733d9c337e8e86deba13a3df","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/733d9c337e8e86deba13a3df","title":"CMT Engineering Technician","description":"NOVA Engineering & Environmental is seeking a full-time CMT Engineering Field Technician in the Sarasota, FL metropolitan statistical area (MSA).\n\nThe individual will be responsible for the following:\n\nField testing and inspections of soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and masonry mortar/grout for compliance with ASTM, AASHTO, DOT, and/or project specifications;\nReview of blueprints in preparation of field observations on construction sites;\nDocumentation of field activities, observations, and testing results on construction projects, and their conformance with (or deviation from) project plans and specifications;\nDaily use of Metafield for recording of testing results;\nCommunication of field testing results with Construction Services staff, general contractors, and clients;\n\nAt NOVA, it doesn't have to be just a job, it can be the beginning of a long and successful career. We offer training (both on-the-job and classroom) to support and encourage staff in obtaining certifications in the fields of aggregate, asphalt, soil, reinforced concrete and masonry.
