The construction laborer is responsible for demolition of materials, general cleanup, and proper material handling.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nOperating a variety of hand and power tools.\nCleaning and preparing construction sites as needed.\nAbility to erect scaffolding, fencing, and ladders.\nRemoving and properly disposing of debris and waste materials.\nDigging trenches along with other site requirements.\nMoving materials and equipment to and from construction areas.\nFollowing all safety procedures on the job site, including all PPE requirements, and reporting violations immediately to management.\nMaintaining a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site on a daily basis.\nLoading and unloading construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment.\nAssisting other trades as directed by management.\nOther duties as needed.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nProficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, tape measure etc.)\nA willingness to always follow safety guidelines.\nValid driver’s license required.\nAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel.\nAbility to work on a military installation and pass a background check.\nOSHA 10/30 certification, or the ability to complete.\nPossess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in residential renovations.\nPositive Attitude\nInitiative\nFlexibility\nMulti-Tasking\nSense of Urgency\nHard Working\nEffective Communication\nWhy Join Sevan?\nAt Sevan, we believe in creating a supportive and dynamic environment where your contributions truly matter.
