Sonsoft Inc. is growing at a steady pace specializing in the fields of Software Development, Software Consultancy and Information Technology Enabled Services.\n\nJob Description\n\nJob Description:-\nAt least 4 years of experience with back end RDBMS and data modeling / database design(Oracle and DB2 preferred)\nAt least 4 years of hands on experience in Design, Development & Build activities in IBM Datastage(v8.5 and above) ETL Projects\nAt least 3 years of experience in software development life cycle\nAt least 3 years of experience in DW/BI related technologies and tools - MUST\nAt least 3 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on DW/BI development and maintenance projects\nAt least 2 years of experience in Design and Architecture review\nKnowledge of IBM Datastage Architecture, Stages/Transformations, Design, ETL flow, advanced SQLs\nKnowledge of data loading techniques using Datastage\nDevelop Datastage Parallel Extender jobs using different stages like Aggregator, Join, Merge, Lookup, Source dataset, External Filter, Row generator, Column Generator, Change Capture, Copy, Funnel, Short, Peek stages etc\nUsing Datastage Director for running and monitoring the jobs.\nCreated Datastage sequences to run the batch jobs.\nKnowledge Best Practices in Datastage, Performance improvements, implementing CDC, UDFs\nUnderstanding of Unix/Linux system, file systems, shell scripting\nStrong understanding of scheduling tools such as Autosys, Control- M, Tivoli etc.\nGood knowledge on MF file structures along with RDBMS.\nProvides expertise in determining the strategic technical direction and system architecture for initiatives.\nHands-on development mentality, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems\nStrong analytical skills\nExperience in Financial domain\n\nQualifications\n\nBasic Qualifications :-\nBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
