The role will focus on OnBase architecture, document and metadata migration, workflow transformation, API-based extraction, data validation, and legacy system decommissioning. \r Key Responsibilities \r Migration Architecture & Analysis \r \r Analyze the existing OnBase environment, including Document Types, Keyword Types, WorkView applications, AutoFoldering, workflows, storage volumes, and security configurations. \r Define migration strategies and mapping for OnBase documents, metadata, security models, and business processes to modern ECM platforms. \r Design and execute end-to-end data extraction, transformation, and migration processes for high-volume document repositories. \r Develop migration mappings and technical documentation for document taxonomy, metadata, security, and business rules. \r Partner with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure successful migration planning and execution. \r \r OnBase Development & Data Extraction \r \r Develop custom C#/.NET scripts, Unity API solutions, and REST API integrations to extract documents, metadata, annotations, audit information, and other OnBase content. \r Work with the OnBase database schema to identify, analyze, and extract required data. \r Identify and resolve data quality issues including discrepancies, orphaned records, duplicate content, and corrupted documents. \r Develop transformation pipelines to prepare extracted documents and metadata for ingestion into target repositories. \r Perform data validation, reconciliation, and integrity checks throughout the migration lifecycle. \r \r Workflow & Process Migration \r \r Analyze and deconstruct complex OnBase Workflow and WorkView applications. \r Translate legacy business processes and workflow logic into modern process orchestration solutions using Camunda/BPMN. \r Support document and repository migration to OpenText and Microsoft SharePoint, including taxonomy and metadata mapping. \r Develop and execute parallel testing, reconciliation, dual-run, and post-migration validation strategies. \r Support legacy OnBase decommissioning activities and ensure complete technical and operational documentation. \r \r Required Qualifications \r \r 5+ years of hands-on experience with Hyland OnBase development, configuration, and administration. \r Strong expertise with OnBase Unity API, C# scripting, Workflow, WorkView, Keyword Types, Document Types, and OnBase database structures. \r Proven experience delivering large-scale OnBase migration or legacy ECM modernization projects. \r Strong C#/.NET development and API integration experience. \r Advanced experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle, including complex SQL/T-SQL queries and data extraction. \r Experience developing ETL/data migration processes for high-volume document and metadata repositories. \r Strong understanding of document management, metadata, taxonomy, security, and data integrity. \r Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise system integrations. \r Experience with at least one modern target platform such as OpenText, Microsoft SharePoint, or Camunda. \r Strong experience with data validation, reconciliation, audit tracking, and migration quality controls. \r \r Preferred Qualifications \r \r Hyland certifications such as OCA, OCWA, or OCAPI. \r Experience with OpenText Content Suite/xECM. \r Experience with Microsoft SharePoint document management and migration. \r Experience with Camunda and BPMN process modeling. \r Experience with MuleSoft, Azure Data Factory, or other middleware/ETL platforms. \r Experience with cloud-based ECM or content migration initiatives. \r Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or Kanban environments.","company":"2t Consulting","rawCompany":"2t consulting","city":"Brookside","state":"NJ","isRemote":false,"isActive":true,"createdAt":"2026-08-13T23:16:50.922Z","occupations":[{"code":"15-1252.00","title":"Software Developers","slug":"software-developers"},{"code":"15-1211.00","title":"Computer Systems Analysts","slug":"computer-systems-analysts"},{"code":"15-1299.08","title":"Computer Systems Engineers/Architects","slug":"computer-systems-engineers-architects"}],"industries":[{"code":"541512","title":"Computer Systems Design Services","slug":"computer-systems-design-services"},{"code":"513210","title":"Software Publishers","slug":"software-publishers"},{"code":"541511","title":"Custom Computer Programming Services","slug":"custom-computer-programming-services"}],"jobPosting":{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","title":"OnBase Developer","description":"We are seeking an experienced Senior OnBase Developer to support the analysis, development, data extraction, and migration of a legacy Hyland OnBase environment to modern enterprise content and process management platforms.
