This position reports to the Security Risk Compliance Office Program Director of the Florida’s Turnpike Enterprises (FTE). This position requires that the incumbent have advanced technical expertise in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting complex network environments, including routers, switches, wireless systems, and load balancers\nCertification:\nMust have Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA – REQUIRED)\nMust have Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA – REQUIRED)\nCisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE – preferred)\n*\nResponsibilities\nManagement of Layer 2 and 3 protocols including routers and switches. Focus on sustaining the necessary data throughput rate by monitoring network activity to mitigate performance problems.\nProactively monitor and troubleshoot connectivity for the FTE’s Network Infrastructure including campus, roadside, backbone, LAN, Walk-in Centers, partner networks and third-party connectivity.\nReview FTE’s network architecture and design including failover capabilities and recommend changes to optimize performance and reliability.\nImplement and oversee network security measures, including access controls, segmentation, and disaster recovery plans, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.\nLeverage SolarWinds to create dashboards to monitor the Network Infrastructure and proactively\ntroubleshoot performance, connectivity including management reporting dashboards.\nMonitor and deploy patches and updates to all network infrastructure routers, switches, firewalls, and other supporting equipment.\nParticipate and support Network and Security Operations team in designing Cloud architecture. This includes capacity, failover, stability, and security design.\nMaintain accurate inventory controls supporting FTE’s network infrastructure.\nDevelop and maintain network infrastructure diagrams and depict any changes along with associated documentation including change control approvals.\nAssist the SRCO team with investigation, triage forensic analysis, and evidence preservation regarding cybersecurity events.\nEnsure compliance with established standards, polices, configuration guidelines established by SRCO and Industry best practices such as NIST.\n*\nRequirements:\n- This is a Full Time On-Site Position. No Remote Work Allowed.
