The Program Director is responsible for managing and monitoring the job performance of all program employees; assuring the quality of clinical services provided to persons served and the communications between program employees and agency administration. This work is carried out in support of the mission and goals of Samaritan Daytop Village.\r\nResponsibilitiesWhat You Will Do\r\nServes as administrative lead and monitors therapeutic environment to ensure smooth day to day operations of the facility and ensure interpersonal relationships remain positive and a therapeutic milieu is maintained.\r\nMonitors quality, effectiveness and efficiency of program's clinical services and safety of environment of care. Oversight of clinical operations, including but not limited to, program evaluation and monitoring of outcomes; adjusting treatment programming based on patient needs; initiating new programming based on changes in addiction treatment landscape.\r\nProvides monthly utilization, linkages, and outcome reports to Vice-President as needed.\r\nManages program services, improves existing services, and develops new treatment components to meet the needs of persons served.\r\nFosters and develops relationships with local community leaders, and other agencies within the catchment area for designated programs.\r\nManages program services, improves existing services and develops new treatment components to meet needs of persons served.\r\nHelps develop, implement and deploy agency policy and procedures.\r\nProvides clinical and administrative supervision to program staff.\r\nInterviews, hires, trains, appraises, disciplines and may terminate subordinate staff.\r\nProvides administrative supervision for program operations; ensures a safe and secure environment of care.\r\nEnsures clinical staff maintains accurate, complete and timely records that comply with regulatory standards and agency internal policy and procedure.\r\nEnsures that all program staff upholds the agency's Code of Conduct/Code of Ethics and comply with all Federal, state and local law/regulation, including 42 CFR confidentiality and HIPAA privacy and security regulations.\r\nInterfaces with other department and clinical program directors to meet agency's goals and objectives.\r\nPlans, develops, and conducts in-service training to maintain and improve staff competencies.\r\nParticipates in internal management/quality improvement committees.\r\nRepresents Samaritan Village at community and public forums.\r\nAdheres to all responsibilities and duties of a New York State mandated reporter.\r\nKeeps abreast of changes in field.\r\nPerforms other duties as requested.\r\nQualificationsWho You Will Be\r\nNYSED Qualified Healthcare Professional (QHP)LMSW or LCSW or LMHC license.\r\nOASAS CASAC Certification as an Advanced Counselor or a Master Counselor.\r\nOASAS Clinical Supervision Foundations I & II (30 hours): Successful completion required by all Advanced and Master Level CASACs.
