We provide maintenance and logistic services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) in support of this program. For over 35 years we have planned, coordinated, and executed the maintenance and logistic services for ground combat vehicles and support equipment for USMC Expeditionary Forces.\n\nTitle\nMCPP - Maintenance Supervisor\n\nJob Summary\nAs the Maintenance Supervisor you will plan, organize, and lead day-to-day activities of one or more departmental or functional activities. You will be responsible for implementing training requirements and monitoring employee performance. Establish production standards, monitor compliance, and recommend operational improvements. Assist the manager in accomplishing the short and long-term goals for the department/function.\n\nRoles And Responsibilities\n\nSupervises and coordinates activities of mechanics who are performing automotive mechanic duties to inspection, all levels of maintenance, and repair of light/medium wheeled vehicles.\n\nSupervises and coordinates activities of mechanics engaged in repairing, adjusting, servicing, and storing motor vehicles.\n\nResponsible for equipment readiness, maintenance shop organizations, control of maintenance assets and providing advice on all matters relating to light/medium wheeled vehicle maintenance.\n\nEnsure mechanics are properly trained in all maintenance functions.\n\nDetermines sequence and assignment of work based on work priority and quantity of equipment to obtain optimal use of equipment, facilities, and personnel.\n\nKeeps inventory of repair parts and equipment and requisitions replacement stock. Inspects work performed to ensure compliance with specifications and time schedules.\n\nInterpret specifications, drawing, work orders, technical instructions, and layouts.\n\nCoordinates department activities with other departments.\n\nEnsures compliance with administrative policies, procedures, and governmental regulations.\n\nEnsures employees adhere to all safety requirements, procedures, and policies.\n\nSupervise and manage the administration of workspace for motor transport equipment repair.\n\nRecommend changes to procedures as appropriate.\n\nComplies with and ensures compliance with all MCPP ISO-9002 policies and procedures.\n\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\nMust be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a Secret Clearance. Due to this, you must be a U.S. Citizen to be eligible for this position.\n\nAssociate’s degree and/or course work towards a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering or other related discipline is preferred. In lieu of a degree, a combination of college credits, other formalized training or education, and directly related work experience may be considered.\n\nMust have 8 years of directly related work experience including 2 years of supervisory experience in a motor transport environment.\n\nMust have completed the motor transport maintenance officer course, or equivalent.\n\nRequires the ability to review and apply technical specifications and requirements.\n\nThe ability to analyze equipment and forecast spare part equipment is required.\n\nMust have the ability to analyze maintenance repair or operation to determine methods of improvement.\n\nMust have strong written and oral communication skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nUSMC MOS 3510 or 3529 or Army MOS 91X or 91Z.\n\nKBR Benefits\n\nKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
