The program enables innovative AI tools and analytic tradecraft by providing NSG/IC analysts and data scientists capabilities to automate manual intelligence tasks and implement AI/ML capabilities to include agentic designed to analyze and generate geospatial intelligence data, in combination with data from other intelligence disciplines.The project objective is to provide an integrated AI tools, LLMs, RAGs, agents, and agentic AI capabilities that allow analysts and scientists to analyze and triage data from multiple intelligence sources and models.Responsibilities:Responsible for using various programming algorithms to build, test and deploy AI/ML models and agentic AI.Coordinating with other team members, developers, analyst and scientistConducting statistical analysis and interpreting the results to guide an organization's decision-making processAutomating important infrastructure for analysts and scientistsDeveloping infrastructures for data transformation and ingestionBuilding AI models that make predictions based on large quantities of dataExplaining the usefulness of the AI models to a wide range of individuals within the organization, including collaborators and product managersDevelop APIs to interact with other applicationsEnsure the establishment of complete and accurate system-level functional/performance requirements that are clear, traceable from strategic capabilities to validated customer and operations needs/requirements, and consistent with the program's architecture objectives and acquisition strategy.Provides technical coordination, architecture guidance, and support for project developmentDefine the milestones and control gate success criteria and evaluate entry/exit readiness during design reviews and audits to ensure protection of baselines and to assist in risk identification and resolution.Plan and coordinate data management practices to treat and handle data as a resource.Assist Government in managing system development and deployment efforts, moves or modernization changes including analysis, IT and cloud requirements, network security measures, and other factors.Desired experience:Master's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree.Experience in government or industry in AI/ML and agentic developmentExperience Integrating solutions using AI/ML technologiesDemonstrated experience leading technical integration effortsDemonstrated experience leading multi-system integration efforts through requirements definition, development, testing and transition.Proficiency in Python (FastAPI library familiarity is a plus)Familiarity with CI/CD practices using GitLab or similar toolsFamiliarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architectureExperience with database management, PostGres, ElasticSearchKnowledge of containerization (Docker, Kuberne3tes, Openshift, Helm)Experience with version control systems, especially Git and platforms like GitLab for CI/CDProficiency in frontend frameworks (React)Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptExperience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX) we are using Redux for state management right nowUnderstanding of UI/UX principlesFamiliarity with CI/CD practices using GitLab or similar toolsAdditional desired experience:Experience with processes, tools, and languages pertaining to AI/ML developmentExperience engineering solutions using structured and unstructured Big Data, AI, and Cloud-based technologiesDemonstrated senior level experience integrating Geospatial Intelligence systemsDemonstrated senior level experience in AI engineering and integration of large complex system of systems of service-centric/Cloud environmentsThe AI Engineer will work on government site and as part of a distributed multi-disciplinary team.
