Irrigation Technician

Irrigation Technician (Tacoma area) Tacoma area irrigation Company is seeking a full time Irrigation Service Technician. We are looking for individual(s) who already have developed good skills and knowledge, perform to high standards and have a strong work ethic. The most successful applicant will have or be able: Three years or more irrigation installer experience or experience as a repair tech with intermediate to advanced system knowledge on small to very large systems Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting, installation, and being familiar with all types of irrigation components Ability to perform Spring start-ups and Winterization. Ability to provide necessary information to prepare estimates. Ability to effect repairs as directed by customer / supervisor Be able to consistently report use of materials, equipment, and labor; keep daily time records Ability to read and write in English and perform basic math skills Physical ability to lift, dig, trench, and restore turf when required A valid WA State driver license and reliable transportation to and from work Bilingual skills are helpful If offered position, applicant must pass a pre-employment background check / drug screen test The most successful applicant will enjoy: Top pay for experienced technician Year round employment A great, positive work atmosphere.
