Line Cook

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality meals to our guests. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to prepare ingredients, cook dishes, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring variety and quality in offerings. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Assist in catering events as needed, preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality. Participate in inventory management, including tracking supplies and placing orders as necessary. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with dietary department operations is a plus. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, including knife skills and cooking methods. Experience in catering services is advantageous but not required. Understanding of food safety standards and regulations is essential. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
