Additional responsibilities include a strong technical aptitude, ability to decipher/design integrated systems in compliance with local jurisdiction requirements, and effective interpersonal skills. Will assist in training of less experienced technicians. Provides guidance and leadership to others to ensure best practices are used.\n\nWhat You'll Do:\n\nInstall/service integrated systems and special projects:\nComplete system installations and/or servicing of various types of advanced level of integrated burg, card access, video, and fire alarm system, as well as special projects.\nTroubleshoot integrated systems in high end residential and commercial applications.\nLead the design and deployment of projects in concert with local and state building codes and communicate effectively with AHJs.\nDemonstrate proficiency and understanding of the software and programming for the primary manufacturers used by branch.\nEmploy logic and experience to work through system and integrated system issues.\nDemonstrate advanced networking skills and communicate with other IT professionals.\nInteract and communicate at all levels of the organization and with external customers. Share knowledge, ideas, and solutions.\nTrain and mentor technicians:\nReview work of Entry Level through Level 3 technicians on shared job sire and provide training to correct any errors.\nResponsible for the work done by all technicians on his/her jobs.\nProvide guidance and leadership to ensure best practices are used.\n\nWhat You'll Need:\n\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\n7+ years industry experience - preferred.\nMinimum of 5 years of fire detection and signaling systems experience.\nCertification/License:\nState licensing is required.\nMust possess a valid driver’s license.\nESA Level 2 and NICET Fire level 2 - preferred.\nCompletion of minimum training/certification checklist required per Technician Career Path OR equivalent experience and demonstrated expertise.\nCommunication:\nMust be able to effectively communicate with various individuals in a professional manner in order to provide superior customer service.\nTechnical:\nProficient in design of integrated systems.
