DESCRIPTION:
Join our team of dedicated skilled nursing professionals! We are seeking an experienced RN, preferably with passion for long term care. The RN will have a strong impact on our facility through effective delegation and coaching of our staff LPNs, TMAs, and CNAs. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Consistently enforcing all safety rules and ensure that safe practices are followed.
Actively participate in all monitoring as required by federal/state regulations, physicians orders and the needs of the resident.
Attend and participate in care conferences and oversee that the resident screening, labs and specialist orders.
Assesses resident when a significant change in condition has occurred or suspected.
Oversees that physician/family contact occurs in a timely manner.
Reviews order changes, recommendation follow-up and appropriate documentation is completed.
Maintains confidentiality of resident related information in compliance with HIPPA regulations. Respects confidentiality of organization, department, staff, residents, and family.
Assists medication nurse/TMA with administering of all medications/treatments/procedures not within the TMA's practice guidelines.
Adheres to guidelines and principles as developed by the Minnesota Department of Health, the Minnesota Nursing Association for standards of practice and guidelines of medication administration.
REQUIREMENTS:
Associate's or Bachelor's in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
CPR Certificate.
MN Registered Nurse (RN) License.
** Up to an additional $7/hours based on shift differential and charge pay**
