Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced go-getting FLSA Litigation Attorney to join our fast-paced, mission-driven legal team for either or Jersey City, NJ or Wayne, PA office or upcoming DC office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record representing employees in wage and hour class and collective actions under the FLSA and corresponding state laws. You will work alongside seasoned attorneys and a high-performing support staff in cases involving unpaid overtime, employee misclassification, off-the-clock violations, and systemic wage abuses.Key ResponsibilitiesLitigate FLSA collective and Rule 23 class actions from intake through resolutionConduct fact investigations and client interviews in collaboration with our intake teamDraft pleadings, motions, discovery, and pretrial submissionsTake and defend depositions; argue motions and attend court appearancesDevelop and analyze damages models with support from experts and consultantsLead strategic settlement discussions, including mediation and negotiationContribute to firm visibility through thought leadership (articles, CLEs, webinars, etc.)Drive case progression with diligence, urgency, and strategic insightQualificationsJ.D. and bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (multi-state preferred)Minimum of 3 years’ experience litigating FLSA and/or state wage and hour casesSubstantial experience with collective certification, class certification, and class motion practiceExceptional legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skillsStrong work ethic, organizational skills, and attention to detailAbility to manage cases independently while collaborating effectively within a teamA commitment to ethical, client-centered advocacyWhy Join Brown, LLC?Mission-first, high-impact litigation practiceCompetitive salary and performance-based bonus structureOpportunity to work on high-profile, cutting-edge casesSupportive and skilled legal team with former DOJ and FBI personnelLeadership and growth opportunities in both litigation and firm initiatives
