Love coding, Robotics, STEM, problem-solving or computer tech and working with kids? Code Ninjas is the place for you! Help our Ninjas (students) build video games.\n\nWe are now hiring for part-time Code Sensei (STEM Instructor) to join our team immediately! Code Sensei are the lifeblood of our center. Each day you will be responsible for helping to get the center ready for the day (powering up laptops and other tech equipment), working with kids ages and helping them work on our self-paced coding curriculum, addressing any roadblocks that come up for them along the way, and leading them through other STEM activities\n\nResponsibilities include:\n\nTraining – go through the curriculum and learn it\nCreate a positive and safe environment in which students can grow\nWork with children to determine skill sets\nProvide feedback to parents after working with student who is on a tour\nFollow opening/closing duties daily\nClean dojo throughout the day to ensure cleanliness is kept up to corporate standards\nReport weekly to Center Director on progress\nReport daily to Center Director with respect to day’s activities and productivity in dojo\n\nQualifications:\n\nWorking history with children ages 5 and up (mentoring, coaching, tutoring etc.)\nExperience working with the general public\nExperience in teaching, mentoring or child care\nWorks well with others; collaborates\nKnowledgeable about coding and technology; or able to quickly pick up basic concepts\nMust be fun to work with and like working in fast paced environments where requirements can change frequently.\nJava, JavaScript, Scratch Experience Required\nLAST BUT NOT LEAST MUST HAVE CODING BACKGROUND.\n\nPay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour\nCompensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour\n\nABOUT US\nCode Ninjas® is the world’s largest and fastest-growing kids coding franchise, with hundreds of locations in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
