Not only will your efforts allow us to achieve organizational efficiency, you will nurture the pleasant work environment our people love.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned) This is a safety sensitive positionOperate forklift to move material and product while following all company Safety & Security policies and proceduresIdentify and report faulty equipment, damage, and safety concerns to Supervisor immediatelyPick orders, load and unload trailers using a forklift or other material handling equipmentSort, pack, wrap, tie and label products as per supervisor's instructionsUsing an RF gun to receive, pick and ship ordersStocking or returning material to its correct rack location using the forkliftProvide customer assistanceWeigh pallets, record weight and other data on pallet labelsClean work area and equipment regularly by removing empty pallets, wood and plasticFollow battery charging procedures for maintaining forklift batteriesSkills and Experience Required for SuccessCertification in forklift operationMust be able to operate a stand-up reach liftMust be able to lift 25-50 pounds regularlyMust be able to communicate any safety concernsCompetencies Required for SuccessIntegritySelf-MotivatedTeamwork necessaryDemonstrated prioritization / time management skillsEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent; OR one to three months related experience AND/OR training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
