As a senior MBSE, you will leverage your MBSE experience to help shape and lead the implementation of MBSE on current and emerging programs. You will assist Systems Engineering team members in developing model-based work products and serve as a key resource to other engineering disciplines to help facilitate efficient and effective adoption of MBSE principles and practices.\r\nThis position will also support the definition & implementation of MBSE products and processes by partnering across our Systems Engineering teams, and with the overall MBSE efforts. The goal is to incorporate and modernize model-based methods into products, processes, and design reviews. Define, develop, and maintain the end-to-end digital engineering architecture, ensuring traceability to program requirements and performance goals.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nEstablishing MBSE implementation strategies for development programs\r\nInteracting with programs, functional and customer leadership to ensure alignment of MBSE implementation goals, expectations and outcomes\r\nCollaborating with MBSE Digital Transformation functional competency to facilitate adoption of MBSE initiatives and tools\r\nDeveloping program architectures and system models utilizing established reference architectures to include interface control modeling\r\nMentoring and training SE team members to grow MBSE knowledge and capability within the team.\r\nCollaborating with other functional teams to ensure successful MBSE implementation\r\nBasic Qualifications\r\nBachelor's degree from an accredited university in Engineering or related STEM discipline\r\nMinimum of 5 years experience in systems engineering or related engineering discipline with hands-on practice in requirements, analysis, decomposition, and verification\r\nSystems Architecture modeling experience (e.g., systems development, interface control modeling)\r\nProficiency in SysML, Cameo, DOORS, Rational, Jira and other MBSE related tools\r\nAbility to obtain & maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level\r\nDesired Skills\r\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience engaging with Engineering, Program and Customer leaders and stakeholders.\r\nDemonstrated ability to successfully lead and mentor a team of systems engineers.\r\nExperience in developing strategies and translating them into action and driving results.\r\nExperience with Agile development tools and methodologies.\r\nExperience with LM's Digital Transformation and SE modernization efforts.\r\nSecurity Clearance\r\nThis position requires a government security clearance. You must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET level clearance.\r\nLocation and Work Requirements\r\nThis position is located at a facility that requires special access and will require a U.S. DoD security clearance. The work is performed onsite full-time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
