The position requires experience supporting DevOps, cloud environments, and automation within a mission-driven, government setting.\n\nProgram Overview\nThis program advances public health initiatives by providing mission-critical technology solutions.\n\nKey Details\nLocation: Remote\nClearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination\n\nResponsibilities\n\nServe as a primary technical resource for teams requiring support with CI/CD workflows, responding to requests, troubleshooting pipeline issues, and maintaining pipelines.\nBuild, optimize, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.\nManage and monitor GitHub Actions runners and workflows.\nCollaborate with product owners and engineering teams to prioritize and resolve technical backlog items.\nImplement technical interfaces and integrations between CI/CD services and enterprise systems.\nMaintain AWS serverless infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices.\nDevelop and maintain Python scripts and lightweight automation tools for operational tasks.\nEnsure CI/CD environments are current, secure, reliable, and efficient through proactive updates and issue resolution.\nCollaborate to implement DevSecOps best practices for reliability and automation.\nExplore, document, and test AI-assisted tools to enhance development and operational workflows.\nIdentify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and increased deployment reliability.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n4+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure engineering, or related technical roles.\nHands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions.\nProven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.\nSupport or deployment experience with AWS serverless architectures and services.\nStrong Python development skills with capability to develop scripts and automation tools independently.\nPractical experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted development tools or automation technologies.\nKnowledge of modern DevSecOps practices, source control, and cloud infrastructure management.\nExcellent troubleshooting, analytical, and collaborative problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work onsite in Atlanta, GA.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience with Microsoft Azure environments and services.\nKnowledge of cloud monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting tools.\nHands-on experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.\nFamiliarity with agentic coding tools like Claude Code, Codex, or GitHub Copilot.\nTroubleshooting production incidents in distributed or cloud environments.\nKnowledge of cloud security, IAM, and secure DevSecOps practices.\nExperience supporting federal government or public health-related technology environments.\n\nSalary Range\n$120,000.00 – $135,000.00\n\nCompany Overview\nBlu Omega is a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) providing technology and cybersecurity solutions to federal agencies and enterprise clients nationwide.
