Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.\n\nPurpose:\n\nYou will provide structural engineering services to Worley and its customers, including technical support and supervision within the structural engineering team.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nDeliver structural engineering services that meet Worley, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.\nInitiate, manage and if required supervise structural engineering project requirements.\nPerform structural engineering services such as:\nParticipate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and follow required checking procedures.\nEnsure the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes.\nProvide assistance and advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. For example, write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations and write purchase orders.\nDesign foundations and various reinforced concrete structures.\nDesign steel structures, supports and racks.\nReview shop drawings prepared by fabricators, detailers and vendors;\nPrepare detailed design, specifications, calculations and reports.\nIf needed, act as the structural engineering Lead on specific projects.\nIf responsible for a team:\nOutline project requirements including actively promoting workshare, where appropriate, assign tasks and supervise progress.\nEnsure the required services meet Worley, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, on time and within budget.\nProactively resolve any discrepancies between Worley and its customer's requirements.\nKeep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in structural engineering.\nIf required, assist and support junior personnel within the structural engineering team.\nCommunicate effectively with the structural engineering team and project stakeholders, including the customers.\nIdentify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.\n\nWhat you will bring\n\nTechnical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:\n\n12+ years of relevant discipline experience.\nExperience working in project leadership role.\nExperience in estimating project costs and writing proposal content.\nHighly effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers.\nA sound knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the structural engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.\nA sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.\nCompetent use of structural engineering specific software.\nCompetent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.\nSubstantial technical land practical experience in structural engineering in the same or similar industry including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.\n\nEducation – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:\n\nRequired:\n\n4 or 5 year Bachelor degree in Structural Engineering.\n\nPreferred:\n\nProfessional Engineer (PE) in the United States.\n\nMoving forward together\n\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
