We want to meet you!\nWe currently have openings for both 1st and 2nd shift Refurb Associate.\n1st shift: Monday-Friday 5:45am-2:15pm\n2nd shift: Monday-Friday 3:15-11:45pm\nMake anywhere from $15.50 to $18.00 an hour based on experience\n\nEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nErase all data stored on electronic devices and ensure no unauthorized information remains when products are refurbished for resale.\nClean electronic devices thoroughly to restore them to optimal condition for sale, adhering to strict cleanliness and quality standards.\nPerform rigorous functionality tests on electronic devices to ensure compliance with original manufacturer specifications and high-quality standards.\nPack orders accurately and securely according to Pick-to-Light system instructions, ensuring products are properly arranged to withstand shipment.\nCollaborate with team members across Refurbishment and Fulfillment Centers to achieve department objectives, emphasizing a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.\nReport any issues promptly that may affect production timelines, safety, or product quality to management.\nAdhere strictly to safety procedures and exercise good judgment in operational and loss prevention practices.\nDemonstrate commitment to GameStop's values, including a strong work ethic, professionalism, and respect for diversity and integrity.\nSupport other departments as business needs require, maintaining flexibility and adaptability to changing demands.\nFollow established guidelines outlined in the DC/Refurb Associate Handbook to maintain consistency and efficiency in operations.\n\nRelated Competencies:\n\nContributing to Team Success: Actively participates as a team member to achieve goals, emphasizing collaboration and communication.\nQuality Orientation: Ensures tasks are completed accurately and to the highest quality standards, conducting thorough checks and adhering to procedures.\nSafety Awareness: Identifies and corrects safety issues promptly to maintain a safe working environment for all associates.\n\nBasic and Preferred Qualifications:\n\nMust be at least 18 years old with state-required proof of age documents.\nPrevious experience in a distribution center preferred, with a strong emphasis on fulfillment practices and quality assurance.\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nAbility to lift and carry boxes up to 30 pounds and lift products up to 10 pounds from heights up to six feet.\nMust be able to push boxes weighing up to 30 pounds along a mechanically assisted conveyor.\nAbility to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods (eight or more hours daily).\n\nMinimum Qualifications, Job Skills, Abilities:\n\nEffective communication skills in spoken and written English.\nAbility to work under tight deadlines and meet production goals, with a strong attention to detail.\nBasic math skills, including familiarity with Roman numerals.\nComfort working in confined spaces (approximately three feet wide).\nFamiliarity with and adherence to GameStop policies and procedures related to attendance, safety, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities\nThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
