We partner with families, employers, and community organizations to help people live, work, and thrive. Role Overview VersAbility Resources is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to support the Human Resources team. This role provides hands-on experience across core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and interested in gaining real-world experience in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. What You'll Do • Assist with recruitment activities, including attending events and reviewing resumes • Support onboarding processes and new hire orientation • Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation • Participate in employee engagement initiatives and training activities • Provide general administrative support to the HR team • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned Qualifications • Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field • Minimum GPA of 3.0 required • Strong organizational and time management skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment • Valid driver's license required Work Environment & Physical Requirements This position operates in a professional office environment and is primarily sedentary. The role may require extended periods of sitting, with occasional standing, walking, or lifting of light office materials. This position may also require occasional travel to recruitment events or off-site locations. Schedule This is a part-time position. Specific schedule will be discussed during the interview process but will most likely be Monday through Friday during standard business hours (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM).
