This role focuses on improving manufacturing and maintenance processes using industry-standard project management practices. The Project Manager will oversee projects ranging from $5K to $25MM, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and engineering standards. Travel to various AgriBusiness locations is required to support project implementation.\nThe salary range for this position is $97,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).\nIn addition to the base salary, Perdue offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/Rx, 401(k) with employer match after 1 year, critical illness, accident insurance, dental, vison, life insurance, optional group life insurance, short-term and long-term disability protection, flexible spending accounts and paid time off.\n#LI-AF1\nPrincipal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities\nLead the development and execution of capital projects to improve manufacturing and maintenance processes.\nManage multiple projects from initiation through completion, applying project management best practices.\nForecast budgets, schedules, and resource needs for capital projects.\nMonitor and implement cost control measures to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.\nEnsure all projects comply with local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and engineering standards.\nTravel requirement- 30%-45%\nMinimum Education\nBachelor’s degree required – preferably in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management.\nAssociate degree in Construction, Project Management, or an Engineering field may be considered with additional relevant experience.\nExperience Requirements\n7+ years of experience managing capital projects in agricultural product manufacturing.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license required.\nStrong understanding of manufacturing technologies and project management techniques.\nProficiency in standard software applications (Excel, AutoCAD, Word, etc.).\nExcellent communication, math, organizational, and analytical skills.\nValid motor vehicle driver’s license required.\nExperience Preferred\nThe ideal candidate will hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license and have 10 years of experience managing capital projects in agricultural product manufacturing.\nProject Management Professional (PMP) Certification.\nExperience with agricultural product manufacturing processes and facility operations.\nAdvanced knowledge of engineering principles and construction practices.\nFamiliarity with regulatory compliance in industrial environments.\nEnvironmental Factors and Physical Requirements\nAbility to move freely throughout AgriBusiness facilities, including climbing vertical heights (0–150'), carrying tools and equipment (0–100 lbs), and exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, noise, and chemicals.\nMust be able to wear personal protective equipment, including a self-contained breathing apparatus.\nRequired to travel to remote facilities, vendor sites, and customer locations.\nAbility to use standard office equipment.\nPerdue Farms Inc. is an Equal Opportunity employer.
