The successful candidate will combine strong technical skills with clear communication to deliver effective, customer-focused support.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide first- and second-line technical support for Windows and Linux workstations and servers, including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.\nMaintain and support core IT infrastructure components (servers, storage, virtualization, backups) to ensure high availability and performance.\nDiagnose and resolve networking issues, including LAN/WAN connectivity, switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems.\nManage user accounts, permissions, and group policy in Active Directory and related directory services.\nRespond to and manage incidents and service requests via the ticketing system, ensuring timely communication and resolution.\nMonitor system health and performance, proactively identify issues, and perform routine maintenance and updates.\nDocument procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps; maintain knowledge-base articles to improve team efficiency.\nAssist with onboarding and offboarding of employees including device provisioning, access configuration, and user training.\nWork with vendors and escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers or external support when necessary.\nFollow security best practices: apply patches, maintain endpoint protection, and support compliance and audit activities.\nQualifications\nProven experience supporting Windows environments (workstations and servers) and Linux systems in a production setting.\nDemonstrated experience with IT Infrastructure: servers, virtualization, storage, and backup solutions.\nSolid understanding of Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing, switching) and practical experience troubleshooting network issues.\nStrong troubleshooting skills and experience using ticketing systems and remote support tools.\nExcellent communication and customer-service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.\nAbility to prioritize tasks and manage multiple incidents in a fast-paced environment.\nRelevant degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\nNice to have: ComPTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Associate (MCA) or equivalent certifications.\nExposure to directory services (Active Directory), group policy management, and basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash) is advantageous.\nFor this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
