The organization values proactive communication, mentorship, and strategic thinking.Workplace: Hybrid opportunity based in St. Petersburg, Florida.Function: This role serves as a trusted advisor to residential builders and trade contractors, helping clients navigate complex commercial insurance exposures, optimize coverage strategies, and maintain compliance across evolving construction projects.Requirements:5+ years of commercial P&C account management or account executive experienceStrong understanding of General Liability, Builders Risk, Property, Auto, Umbrella, Inland Marine, and Workers' Compensation coverageExperience with ACORD forms and AMS platformsProven client retention and book-of-business management experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsConstruction, builder-risk, or homebuilding insurance experience preferredKnowledge of structural warranty programs preferredIndustry designations such as CIC, CISR, or CRM preferredExperience mentoring junior staff is a plusDescription:Manage and retain a portfolio of builder and contractor insurance accountsConduct annual client strategy reviews and identify coverage gaps proactivelyReview contracts, subcontractor agreements, and risk transfer documentationCoordinate renewals, endorsements, and policy servicing activitiesPartner with internal operations and support teams to ensure SLA complianceMaintain accurate, audit-ready documentation within AMS systemsIdentify cross-sell and upsell opportunities to expand account revenueAssist with training and mentorship of junior team membersCollaborate with leadership on process improvements and client service initiatives
