Senior Civil Designer | Land Development

Job Title: Senior Civil Designer, Land Development Location: Scottsdale, AZ Employment Type: Full Time Job Overview We are currently seeking a Senior Civil Designer to function as the lead designer on a variety of residential and site land development projects. This individual will play a key role in design production, project coordination, and quality control, working closely with Engineers and Project Managers to deliver high quality infrastructure plans. Key Responsibilities Lead design production for residential and site development projects Develop, modify, and review Civil 3D models, plans, and construction documents Prepare grading, drainage, and utility layouts Coordinate design efforts with Engineers, CAD staff, and sub consultants Ensure plans meet local, state, and federal regulatory standards Support project scheduling, budgeting, and technical coordination Conduct QA/QC reviews prior to external submittals Identify and resolve technical design challenges Assist with permitting and agency review processes Mentor junior CAD Designers and Technicians Qualifications Associate degree or technical certification in CAD or related field Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D Strong experience within land development design Deep understanding of grading, drainage, and site infrastructure Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of regulatory design standards and permitting processes GIS experience is a plus Preferred Experience Mentoring or training junior staff Residential subdivision design exposure QA/QC oversight on plan production Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision 401K + Employee Stock Purchase Plan Life & Disability Insurance PTO, Sick Time, Paid Holidays Flexible benefits offerings Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
