Our multidisciplinary team works together to ensure patients receive safe, respectful, and effective care throughout their recovery journey.Position OverviewAllendale Treatment is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide medical care for adult patients receiving inpatient addiction and mental health treatment. This role focuses on patient assessments, medication management, diagnostic evaluation, and collaboration with our clinical and medical teams to support safe detoxification and recovery.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct medical assessments, histories, and physical/psychiatric evaluationsDiagnose and treat substance use and mental health conditionsProvide medication management, including psychotropic medicationsOrder and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studiesMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as neededDocument patient encounters accurately and within required timeframesCommunicate patient status with physicians, nurses, and clinical staffEducate patients and families regarding treatment, medications, and recoveryIdentify suicide risk and ensure appropriate clinical responseParticipate in interdisciplinary team meetings and treatment planningQualificationsGraduate of an accredited School of NursingCurrent APRN / Nurse Practitioner license in the State of IndianaAbility to practice under Indiana NP regulations (IC 25-23-1-19.4)Experience in addiction medicine, behavioral health, or psychiatry preferredStrong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skillsExperience with EMR systems such as KIPU preferredWhy Join Allendale Treatment100% employer-paid health insurance premiums for employeesHealth, dental, vision, and life insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time offEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Supportive, collaborative clinical teamMeaningful work helping individuals recover from addiction and mental illness
