{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"7257ebf1c5116d5c4895efc6","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/7257ebf1c5116d5c4895efc6","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/7257ebf1c5116d5c4895efc6","title":"Processing Operator - 3rd Shift","description":"Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team and is currently recruiting for a Processing Operator - 3rd shift to work from our manufacturing facility located in Goodyear, AZ.\n\nShift hours are Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with some Saturdays as needed.\n\nResponsibilities:\nSet up, operate, and monitor extruders, sheeters, mixers, and/or other processing equipment used to produce tortilla chips.\nKeep production running smoothly by monitoring equipment and making adjustments as needed.\nPartner with the Quality Assurance team to complete quality checks and ensure products meet our standards.\nRetrieve, stage, and prepare raw materials needed for production.\nAccurately complete production logs, records, and component usage entries.\nClean and sanitize processing equipment according to established procedures and sanitation schedules.\nCommunicate with processing and packaging team members to maintain a consistent production flow.\nHelp train and support new or less experienced team members.\nFollow all safety, food safety, and quality procedures and report concerns when identified.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area and participate in daily housekeeping and sanitation.\nOperate forklifts and high-reach equipment as needed.\nPerform other duties as assigned to support the team and production needs.\nRequirements:\nAbility to work Monday to Friday 11PM to 7AM\nComfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and around production equipment.\nAbility to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 70 lbs.\nWillingness to work around hot water, cleaning chemicals, and wet or slippery floors.\nAbility to follow written procedures, safety requirements, and food quality standards.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete production records.\nGood communication and teamwork skills.\nWillingness to learn multiple pieces of processing equipment and take on additional responsibilities.\nAbility to operate or learn to operate forklifts and high-reach equipment.\nPrevious manufacturing, machine operation, food production, or processing experience is a plus.\n\nContinuously Pursuing Excellence!\n\nHere at Utz, we have a passion for exciting and delighting consumers with delicious snack foods made from high quality ingredients.
