Job Title: Meter Inspection TechnicianLocation: East Texas: Cities- Longview; Marshall $20/hr | Paid Training | Field-Based WorkForge ahead with WSB. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Meter Inspection Technician to support gas meter inspection and corrosion prevention activities in the East Texas areas. This is a field-based role ideal for candidates who enjoy working outdoors and want stable, full-time work with a respected consulting firm. This is a contract role with a duration of 6-12 months and is a great opportunity for future permanent positions! What You’ll DoPerform visual inspections of above-ground gas meters and pipingIdentify signs of corrosion or coating damageDocument inspection results using a company-provided mobile applicationPerform basic remediation work such as cleaning, wire brushing, and paintingReport potential gas leaks and follow safety protocolsTravel locally to residential and commercial meter locationsWhat We’re Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver’s license and clean driving recordAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditionsAbility to walk long distances and perform physical workComfortable using a smartphone for photos and documentationPrior utility, construction, or inspection experience is helpful but not requiredPay & Benefits$20 per hour based on experiencePaid training and certification supportFull-time, steady work, OT eligibleCompany-provided resourcesMileage reimbursementWeekly Smartphone reimbursement $10.00Employee Referral Bonus!📍 Work Location: Longview, TX.; Marshall, TX.Work Location: All above-ground, atmosphere-exposed metered service addresses throughout the region.
