WSFSSH develops, manages, and provides social services in housing for low-income persons, especially those who are older, who have experienced homelessness and who live with mental illness.\r\nJob Summary\r\nUnder the supervision of the Managing Director of Congregate Care, the Program Director will partner with the Social Services team to develop policies, procedures and programs within the site as well as the larger WSFSSH Community. This position is responsible for the operations of the building, staff supervision, operation of the program within the budget, facility maintenance, and compliance. The role ensures that all residents and staff are treated with respect and dignity.\r\nThis is a full-time position (5) days a week on-site with on-call responsibilities.\r\nJob Duties & Responsibilities\r\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\r\nBuilding Management\r\nMaintain relationships with block association(s) and other community groups\r\nManage referrals for intake and admissions for vacant units in compliance with eligibility criteria, fair housing and required documentation\r\nServe as liaison with and ensure compliance to requirements of:\r\nRegulatory bodies, including but not limited to: New York State Department of Health (DOH); New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH); NYC Department of Buildings (DOB); NYC Fire Department (FDNY)\r\nEnsure building operation continuity. Implement and/or supervise ordering, repairs, and maintenance\r\nCollect rent/program fees and address any arrears\r\nAdminister the annual income certification and program agreement renewals\r\nConduct at a minimum, bi-annual inspections\r\nSupervision\r\nPartner with WSFSSH HR Department in recruiting, hiring, and training staff for the residence\r\nProvide ongoing supervision and evaluation of staff performance to all building staff and work closely with Clinical Coordinator to supervise social services team\r\nManage staffing schedule to adequately service participants and meet all applicable contract and regulatory requirements\r\nIn conjunction with WSFSSHs accounting office, monitor budgets, spending and on-site financial record-keeping\r\nWith Managing Directors, develop policies and procedures; Review and revise policies and procedures as needed; Implement emergency procedures as necessary\r\nServices to Residents\r\nManage the intake and referrals to vacant units in compliance with fair housing, marketing, referral programs including CAPS\r\nEstablish effective 1:1 relationship with residents\r\nMeet regularly with participants in groups and individually\r\nAssure that residents receive adequate and appropriate case management, personal care aide and recreation/activity services.in compliance with DOH regulations\r\nWith the Food Services Director, oversee the 7 day/week meal program to ensure compliance with nutrition standards, participant satisfaction, appealing presentation, and timeliness\r\nRespond to grievances. crisis intervention as needed.
