Specific duties include but are not limited to the following:\nResponsibilities:\nProvides engineering expertise on supported systems engineering policies and processes.\nApply engineering expertise to systems and subsystems including configuration management, data management, security and other technical integration functions.\nManage complex system interfaces, identify and document interfaces, and assure the effective integration of multiple subsystems.\nEnsure system requirements meet user requirements; utilize user requirements to design, develop, fabricate, test, and evaluate system concepts, perform assessments, and review the system design.\nPerform and/or support capability analyses and COTS/GOTS evaluation, select components, and develop system interfaces to ensure compliance with DoD and commercially accepted standards and requirements.\nConstruct models and simulations of systems to demonstrate the ability to meet user requirements.\nConduct engineering performance, cost-effectiveness, reliability, technical and schedule risk assessment, and scheduling trade-off studies and document this information in a technical report as directed by the task order.\nCapable of performing: problem/gap definition, trade space analysis, science and technology roadmap analysis, “Set based design” for concept development, Multi-Objective Decision Analysis (MODA) and cost versus capability trade off analysis.\nPerform program reviews to evaluate alternative proposed plans, systems engineering programs, design, and test results to assure that subsystem and system performance is achieved in accordance with program specifications.\nJob Requirements\nJOB REQUIREMENTS\nMinimum Qualifications:\nActive TSSCI Clearance required\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related engineering field, or equivalent experience\nMA/MS and 12 Years’ experience w 5 in DoD or BA/BS and 15 Yrs exp w 5 in DoD\nAbility to capture and synergize different pieces of software/hardware components; optimize solutions methods to improve current and future projects\nAbility to develop a highly productive working relationship with customers and teams across multiple programs\nExcellent communications skills; verbal and written\nEO/IR experience as a must\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster’s Degree in Computer Engineering, System Engineering or related engineering field, or equivalent experience\n10+ years of interdisciplinary engineering experience\nSalary information below is a general guide only.
