We are searching for a qualified candidate that has the ability and passionate commitment to collaborate with Business Development Leaders in their roles in order to ensure our customers' satisfaction throughout the sales cycle. The position's tasks vary, but primary focus is on customer requests for information, quoting, technical solutions, and order management.\r\nWould you like to learn to size and select pumps and other equipment? Are you self-motivated and looking for an opportunity that provides career growth, challenge, and job satisfaction?\r\nWhat are we looking for?\r\nKnowledge of Pumps, Heat Exchangers, Valves or other processing equipment preferred.\r\nExperience with industrial products or machines, preferred.\r\nExperience with stainless steel, sheet metal, or food processing equipment a plus.\r\nStrong English for both written and oral communication abilities are a must.\r\nAbility to work on multiple tasks with little supervision in a fast-paced environment.\r\nInitiative to perform duties beyond assignment-specific responsibilities.\r\nWhat will you be doing here?\r\nSize and specify pumps and other process equipment based on product/process conditions provided.\r\nProvide technical assistance to internal and external customers.\r\nPrepare quotes and orders providing pricing.\r\nDeveloping and determining equipment specifications and performance parameters.\r\nGenerating bills of material.\r\nExecute proper review and updates of open orders, quotes, including communication for internal and external customers.\r\nStart, continue, and complete workflow tasks per process and within same business day.\r\nWork Location: Springfield, MO\r\nEducation/Training\r\nHigh school diploma or equivalent, required\r\nCollege credits, required\r\nBachelors of Science, preferred\r\nTechnical (Mechanical or Chemical) emphasis, required\r\nExperience\r\nProcess application knowledge in pumps and/or heat exchangers desired\r\nExtensive mechanical experience, preferred\r\nExperience in technical problem solving and troubleshooting, preferred\r\nIt is generally expected that an applications team member will work an average of 45 hours during a normal work week. However, due to the sporadic nature of our production requirements, work hours may be increased or decreased throughout the normal work week to correspond with the man-hour capacity required. Overtime is not guaranteed.\r\nThis position requires the ability to interact with employees verbally and in writing, remain in a stationary position for 80% of the workday, have close visual acuity, and constantly operate a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a phone, copy/fax/scan machine, computer keyboard and mouse with or without reasonable accommodation.
