This individual will oversee daily operations ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production. This hands-on role manages scheduling, inventory management, maintenance, and team performance while enforcing safety standards and regulatory compliance. The supervisor also supports employee training and identifies opportunities to improve operational and safety processes.\r\nResponsibilities\r\n\r\nServe as a hands-on supervisor, overseeing all daily operations, performing facility operations and providing general work direction as needed to provide efficient, safe, and reliable service to patrons.\r\nSchedule production to meet plant requirements; accounting for proper sequence, clean-out procedures, products ordered, and current inventories.\r\nSupervise plant maintenance to ensure proper operation, repairs, and preventive maintenance requirements are met. Maintain proper record keeping logs.\r\nOversee and manage inventories, both ingredients, and finished products.\r\nEnforce safety rules and administer all company and government regulations.\r\nSupervise team member training for job duties, safety, equipment requirements, and quality control to ensure proper functions of assigned duties.\r\nEvaluate and make recommendations to improve existing programs in safety and equipment maintenance to avoid breakdowns and hazards.\r\nMaintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.\r\nPerform other responsibilities as needed or assigned.\r\n\r\nMinimum Qualifications (required)\r\n\r\nHigh School diploma or GED\r\n2+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations\r\n\r\nAdditional Qualifications\r\n\r\nUnderstanding of basic business principles of inventory management\r\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\r\nAbility to motivate and lead team members\r\nAbility to work extended hours as needed to meet business needs\r\nPrevious supervisory experience preferred\r\nexperiencePre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. If required, selected candidates must pass pre-employment screenings to include all or a combination of drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements and FMSCA Clearinghouse.\r\n\r\nPhysical Requirements\r\n\r\nAbility to stand, sit, twist, bend, lift up to 75lbs\r\n\r\nCHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions.
