Monitor and tune database and database application performance.\r\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities\r\nAssist with the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases\r\nManage database performance and disk usage\r\nProvide support in database access methods\r\nProvide consultation support in database analysis, modeling, coding, and production problem resolution\r\nDevelop maintenance, backup and recovery procedures and documentation\r\nParticipate in Disaster Recovery Drills\r\nProvide primary on-call support for production problems\r\nUnderstand and support corporate data standards\r\nRecommend and assist with new DBMS and operational standards\r\nParticipate in testing and evaluation of new software and software release upgrades\r\nSupport business studies, proposal teams and costing/feasibility studies\r\nPrepare system documentation\r\nMaintain metadata repositories\r\nOther duties as assigned\r\nSupervisory Responsibilities\r\nNone\r\nQualifications\r\n3+ years' experience as an associate DBA\r\nProficient in DML, DDL, and database utilities for at least two DBMS technologies\r\nProficient in all access methods of a DBMS as well as the underlying operating system access methods\r\nTechnical Skills\r\n3+ years' experience with Microsoft SQL Server\r\n1+ year of Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins & CI/CD skills or enthusiasm to learn\r\n3+ years' experience with PostgreSQL\r\nEducation and/or Experience\r\nBachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business\r\nRelated financial industry experience (preferred)\r\nCertificates or Licenses\r\nMicrosoft Certified: Database Administrator Associate (preferred)\r\nBenefits\r\nA hybrid work environment, up to 2 days per week of remote work\r\nTuition reimbursement to support continued education\r\nStudent loan repayment assistance\r\nTechnology stipend allowing use of chosen device for remote work\r\nGenerous PTO and parental leave\r\n401(k) employer match\r\nCompetitive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision\r\nCompensation\r\nThe salary range listed for any given position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses.
