In this role, you’ll ensure policies, programs, and practices are executed accurately and efficiently while supporting employees, management, and customer needs.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\nSupervise staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, compensation recommendations, and performance management.\n\nOversee broad operational areas, including testing, scheduling, inventory management, services, communication, and overall coordination of lab, services, and field operations.\n\nProvide research, feedback, and decisions to address management and employee questions; assist in receiving customer feedback and coordinating responses.\n\nEnsure accuracy of testing, operational databases, reports, and documentation through audits, reviews, and operational queries.\n\nReview and process tests, documents, and data.\n\nProvide guidance on lab and operational policies.\n\nAnalyze trends and present insights and recommendations to management.\n\nParticipate in department and cross-functional initiatives, including budgets, timelines, staffing, materials, and project requirements.\n\nInterpret and apply department policies and procedures and assist with compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.\n\nContribute to department efficiency by offering recommendations and participating actively as a team leader and member.\n\nPromote Pace Analytical’s mission through professional, courteous, and cooperative interactions that foster a positive and effective workplace.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\n\nBachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field.\n\nFive (5) years of laboratory, services, field, or testing experience, including work with complex programs or operations.\n\nTwo (2) years of team leadership experience is strongly preferred.\n\nOr an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.\n\nBenefits\nWhen you join Pace®, you commit to work that makes a positive impact on our communities and our world.
