Our team works within an agile methodology using a CI/CD environment; integrated with automated testing, vulnerability, & quality scanning capabilities. Your skills and interests will be matched to available roles within the program IPT.\n\nThis senior position requires proven experience within the software ecosystem, a unique background of project experience, and the clear exhibition of superior judgment and decision making to engineer new solutions and capabilities. Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills are required!\n\nPosition Responsibilities:\nDevelop and maintain requirements, architecture, algorithms, interfaces, and design for high-performance Command and Control (C2) software solutions.\nLead software development activities in the scaled agile methodology utilizing a DevSecOps environment. Supporting software development activities and integrating completed software components into a fully functional software system.\nSupport progress demonstration presentations to customer representatives and program/IPT leadership.\nPerform day-to-day activities in the areas Product Owner/Technical Lead, Release Train Engineer/Scrum Master, and/or Integration & Test lead.\nSupport IPT by implementing a structured approach to defining and meeting a development and integration schedule alongside a rigorously managed cost baseline.\n\nRequired Skills:\nBachelor s Degree\n5+ years of experience with software development for space systems and ground segments performing command, control, mission planning and data processing\n5+ years of experience in the Software Development lifecycle (including Requirements Analysis, Design, Code, Integration & Test)\n3+ years of experience leading software development projects\n3+ years of experience with software development using either Java, C++, or Python\nExperience working in an Agile software development environment and DevOps methodologies\nRequires the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance\n\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience as a Product Owner/Technical Lead and/or Integration & Test Lead for government programs.\nUnderstanding of Command and Control (C2) systems, real-time applications, and their specific requirements.\nExperience with database technologies (SQL/NoSQL), messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, ActiveMQ), and data streaming technologies (e.g., CCSDS).\nFamiliarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration platforms.\nStrong experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to automate testing, builds, and deployment workflows.\nExperience with various formal acceptance testing activities (e.g., Formal Qualification Test -FQT, Factory Acceptance Test - FAT, Site Acceptance Test - SAT)\nActive TS/SCI or DoD Top Secret clearance.\n\nEducation / Experience:\nEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g.Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).
