Power Platform Developer -HHSC

Senior Microsoft Power Platform Developer Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking an experienced Software Engineer III to support the development of enterprise applications using the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. The selected candidate will design, develop, and maintain business applications leveraging Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and Articulate 360. The engineer will collaborate with stakeholders to analyze system requirements, develop solutions, and support workflow automation and reporting initiatives. This position requires a highly experienced professional capable of independently performing complex tasks while contributing to cross-functional development teams.Key Responsibilities:Develop software solutions by analyzing information needs, workflows, and system requirementsDesign and implement applications using Microsoft Power Platform technologiesBuild and maintain Canvas Apps and Model-Driven AppsDevelop Power Automate workflows, Desktop Flows, and business process flowsWork with Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, and other backend data sourcesSupport Dynamics 365 integrations and application developmentCreate and maintain Power BI dashboards and reportsDevelop and support Power Pages portalsAssist in managing and utilizing the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin CenterDevelop learning and training content using Articulate / Reach 360Collaborate with business users to identify technical solutionsParticipate in Agile development cycles including sprint planning and reviewsTroubleshoot system issues and implement improvementsDocument system designs, processes, and technical specificationsRequired Experience:8+ years Experience with SaaS and/or PaaS environments5+ years Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365, PowerApps, and Power Automate4+ years Microsoft Power Platform development2+ years Designing Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps using Dataverse, SharePoint, or similar databases1+ year Developing Power Automate flows, Desktop flows, and business process flows1+ year Experience working with Dataverse tables and architecture1+ year Experience with Power Pages portals1+ year Experience with Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center1+ year Experience with Articulate / Reach 360Preferred Skills:Microsoft Power Platform certificationExperience developing Power Platform mobile applicationsExperience working in Agile development environmentsStrong communication and analytical skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams
