To assure all samples meet or surpass quality expectations prior to being sent to customers.\n\nResponsibilities Include:\n\nSupervise, train and evaluate the quality output of department workforce\nSupervises the production of work, produced on time and within quality standards\nAssure quality and output goals of the department are met\nInterprets verbal and written specifications and job instructions to workers by demonstration\nAnalyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems\nInform manager of job status and work in progress\nCoordinate with other departments to ensure quality and timely delivery of samples\nLeads and monitors sample department on their performance.\nMonitor and inspect pieces from finishing lines for proper construction, specifications, etc.\nSchedule sample employees for daily work and weekend work\nReply to emails and send emails and scans to Project Managers\nEnforce company policies\nPromote and practice safety rules\nMaintain a clean and organized department\nOther duties as may be assigned.\nRequirements:\n\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\n3–5 years of experience in a printing, mailing, finishing, manufacturing, or production environment.\nPrevious supervisory, lead, or team-lead experience required or strongly preferred.\nWorking knowledge of printing and mailing processes.\nExperience interpreting job tickets, specifications, work instructions, and approved samples.\nExperience inspecting finished products and identifying quality issues or discrepancies.\nSupervisory or leadership training preferred.\nExperience with quality control, sample production, or finishing processes preferred.\nBilingual English/Spanish skills are helpful.\n\nJOB SKILLS\n\nStrong leadership and team-management skills with the ability to effectively direct, coach, and hold employees accountable.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nAbility to read and follow job tickets, written specifications, work instructions, and approved product samples.\nAbility to inspect finished products, identify defects or discrepancies, and determine appropriate corrective action.\nAbility to prioritize work and manage multiple jobs and deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with Project Management, Production, Finishing, and other departments.\nAbility to train employees and communicate expectations clearly.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nBasic computer and email skills.\nBilingual English/Spanish skills are helpful.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\n\nMust be physically capable of working long hours, standing, and/or walking repeatedly throughout the shift.\n\nsg360° does not offer employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
