Our mission is to create and deliver innovative brand experiences that drive growth, retention, and reflect our corporate objectives and values. This role is responsible for managing meetings and trade shows within the Center of Excellence, collaborating with key business stakeholders to develop event strategies focused on best-in-class execution driving internal engagement, influencing customers, and enhancing our brand.Job DescriptionManage all event logistics for a variety of in-person, virtual, and hybrid events of varying complexity for both internal and external audiencesCollaborate strategically with internal business partners across the enterprise to understand and support their goals, proactively integrating events into business plans to drive resultsBuild and maintain strong internal business partner relationships by delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring successful event outcomes with flawless executionPartner with enterprise leaders to develop compelling agendas and drive customer and colleague engagement, influencing overall event design and leveraging best practicesDevelop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, project status, and expectationsIdentify operational challenges and develop solution-oriented strategies and processesWork cross-functionally with internal teams including Operations, Legal, Security, IT, Human Resources, Compliance, Communications, and Marketing to coordinate all event componentsCollaborate with Procurement on legal contracts, statements of work (SOWs), and letters of agreement (LOAs)Oversee and manage event financials, supplier payments, event reconciliation, and cost-savings documentationPrepare post event recaps and reports measuring key ROI (return on investment) and indicators and survey metricsFundamental ComponentsIndependently manage all aspects of assigned events from end to end, including venue sourcing, pre-event planning, project management, invitations, attendee registration, budget oversight, final reconciliation, billing accuracy, meeting close-out, and additional duties as neededSuccessfully manage multiple complex projects and internal business partners in a fast-paced environmentPartner with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality events that support our company culture. values, internal engagement, and customer success.Negotiate and contract with vendors, venues and partners to drive cost efficiency and savings while ensure service level and project scopeProvide onsite management (travel) and execution of all assigned eventsEnsure compliance with all policies and procedures, and use of all pre-established templates and processesDeliver operational requirements and tasks within agreed timelinesStay current on industry trends in event management and integrate innovative practices into event design as appropriateSkillsStrong business acumen, including analytical, organizational, and planning skills, with a solution-oriented approach to decision-makingDedicated and focused, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing tasksStrong presentation and leadership skills to influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the enterpriseExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong understanding of meeting technologies and project managementDemonstrates accountability, ownership, collaboration and a commitment to innovation in every aspect of event managementRequired QualificationsMinimum 5-7 years of event management experience with internal and external stakeholdersExpertise in Cvent (RFP, website development, overall management, communications, reporting)Travel RequirementsThis position requires approximately 25%-50% travel, including occasional weekends.Must be able to carry and lift objects up to 35 lbs. A valid driver’s license is required to rent vehiclesEducationBachelor’s degree OR equiv. work experienceCMP certification preferredCvent certification REQUIREDAnticipated Weekly Hours40Time TypeFull timePay RangeThe Typical Pay Range For This Role Is$66,330.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
