The Utility Worker/Service Employee is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.\r\nTransdev is proud to offer:\r\nUtility Worker/Service Employee represented by Teamsters Local 683:\r\nPosition subject to collective bargaining agreement\r\n$21.51 per hour starting pay with progression based on CBA negotiation over a 3 year period\r\nBenefits include:\r\nVacation: up to 35 days per year- based on years of service and hours worked\r\nPaid sick leave: 40 hours per year; medical, dental & vision after 90 calendar days of employment for full-time employees, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, and company holidays\r\nKey responsibilities:\r\nMaintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles - interior and exterior\r\nDriving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles\r\nFueling buses, replenishing fluids, and logging and recording all fluids\r\nDownloading drive cameras & probes fare boxes\r\nPerform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities\r\nReport maintenance issues to supervisor\r\nOther duties as required\r\nQualifications:\r\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\r\nValid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years\r\nSubject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.\r\nPhysical demands:\r\nLess than 10% of work is accomplished in doors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.\r\nGreater than 90% of work is accomplished in an open garage facility.\r\nPerforms physical activities that require considerable use of the arms, repetitive hand wrist motion, and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.\r\nMay be asked to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.\r\nMay be exposed to cleaning chemicals, you have access to safety protective gear.\r\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
