Social Media & Design Specialist

We're hiring a Social Media & Design Specialist at First Baptist Church Boerne.\We're a Gospel-centered, multigenerational church with 126 years of roots in Boerne, Texas. Our communications team is small, serious about the craft, and growing. We're looking for someone who sees creative work as a form of ministry, not just a job function.The Social Media & Design Specialist will create and publish content across print, digital, and social platforms. This is a full-time, salaried role with regular Sunday responsibilities. It is not a strategy or analytics-heavy position — it's a hands-on creative role.What you'll doDesign sermon series graphics, event materials, digital screens, and weekly service contentProduce weekly social content, including graphics, reels, stories, and short-form videoCapture photos and short-form video at services and eventsDesign printed materials, including flyers, brochures, signage, and promotional piecesMaintain consistent visual branding across all platformsWhat we're looking forA follower of Jesus Christ with a passion for the local churchStrong design skills in Adobe Creative Cloud and/or CanvaSolid understanding of social media, especially Meta platformsA portfolio that shows a range across print and digital workSomeone organized, dependable, and eager to growRelevant experience may include internships, freelance work, or significant academic projects.We encourage all candidates to review our Lifestyle Covenant and Our Beliefs before applying.To apply, send your resume, cover letter, and portfolio to rmccormac@fbcboerne.org.
